Dovetail Joint: 

A dovetail joint is a type of joint used in woodworking to connect two pieces of wood at a right angle. It consists of a series of interlocking pins and tails, which have a trapezoidal shape when viewed from the end. Dovetail joints are known for their strength and resistance to being pulled apart, and they are often used in high-quality cabinetry.

MDF (Medium-density Fiberboard): 

MDF is a composite wood product made from fine wood fibers and glue that are fused together under heat and pressure. It is a strong and relatively inexpensive material used in cabinet construction. MDF does not expand or contract with changes in humidity, and it can readily accept wood veneers or paint finishes.

Plywood:

Plywood is a type of engineered wood made by gluing together multiple layers of thin wood veneers. The grains of each successive layer are oriented at right angles to one another, which adds strength and stability to the material. Plywood is commonly used in cabinet construction due to its durability and ease of use.

Drawer Box:

Concealed Hinge:

A concealed hinge is a type of hinge that is not visible from the front of the cabinet door. It is attached to the inside of the door and provides a clean and seamless look to the cabinet.

Cabinet Shell:

The cabinet shell refers to the entire box or structure of the cabinet, excluding doors, drawers, and other decorative elements.

Frameless Cabinet: 

A frameless cabinet, also known as a European-style cabinet, is a type of cabinet construction where the front edge of the cabinet does not have a frame. In frameless cabinets, the doors cover the entire front face of the cabinet, including the sides, top, and bottom, providing a sleek and modern look.

Base cabinet:

Base Cabinet A cabinet that sits on the floor. These cabinets usually support the countertops. They differ from wall cabinets which hang on the wall. Base cabinets are typically 24" deep, and vary by width.

Wall Cabinet:

Wall cabinets are cabinets that are mounted on the wall, as opposed to base cabinets that sit on the floor. They are typically shallower in depth, around 12 inches, and are used for storing items at a convenient height.
